China to United States
Yihang Shipping forwards commercial cargo from China to the United States by ocean FCL, ocean LCL, and air. For planning, West Coast port-to-port from East China is often about 14–22 days, and East Coast or Gulf often about 28–40. Cargo from Dalian usually connects by feeder first. Door delivery and US customs sit on top of the sailing. These are planning windows, not a confirmed transit.
Planning note
Without CBM, the table on this page is the whole answer. With CBM, we point at one mode and draft the quote.

| Mode | Planning window | When it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Ocean FCL | Often 14–22 days port to port to the West Coast from East China, and about 28–40 days to the East Coast or Gulf. Dalian adds the feeder. | Regular or heavier cargo, and most shipments from about 15 CBM up. |
| Ocean LCL | Longer than the same FCL sailing, because the cargo is consolidated in China and split at a US warehouse. | Smaller commercial lots, usually under about 12 CBM, unless the cargo is heavy or awkward. |
| Air freight | A few days airport to airport when the flight is confirmed. Door time depends on pickup and US release. | A date that will not survive a vessel, or cargo too valuable to sit. |
A cheap West Coast port can lose the saving once the inland move to the real door is added. The quote compares the gateway with the final ZIP, not the ocean rate alone.
Importer security filing and the commercial documents have to be ready before cutoff. Export clearance in China is on Yihang’s AEO file. The US entry is coordinated with a broker, and the quote says who files it.
Under about 12 CBM, LCL is usually the ocean choice. Around 12–15 CBM, both LCL and FCL should be priced. Weight, not just cubes, decides it.
Plan ocean FCL to the West Coast at roughly 14–22 days port to port from East China, and roughly 28–40 days to the East Coast or Gulf. Dalian and other North China ports usually feed a mainline first. LCL adds warehouse time. Air is for when that ocean range misses the date. Yihang confirms a sailing on the quote. These ranges are for planning only.
Under about 12 CBM, ask for LCL unless the cargo is dense or needs its own box. From about 15 CBM, a 20-foot or 40-foot container is usually cleaner. Between those, price both. The answer depends on weight and the US door, not on CBM alone.
Los Angeles, Long Beach, Oakland, and Seattle/Tacoma serve the West. New York/New Jersey, Savannah, and Houston serve the East and Gulf. The right one is the port that makes the inland move to your door sensible, not the port with the lowest ocean number.
China export clearance is handled on Yihang’s AEO brokerage file. The US entry, including the importer security filing window, is coordinated with a broker at destination. The quote names who files that entry and what documents you still have to provide.
Commodity, weight, CBM or container count, pickup city in China, US port or ZIP, incoterm, ready date, and who the importer is. A photo of awkward cargo helps. Send that and the desk replies with a routing option.
